My name is 237 and I joined the company in December 2023 as a mid-career hire. This time, I would like to introduce a little about myself, what led me to join the company, and my impressions afterwards!
Reason for joining the company
After graduating from school, I worked as a sales clerk for a company that manufactures precision parts for automobile parts and home appliances. During that time, I want to go out more and talk to more people! This feeling became stronger, and I decided to change jobs to sales because I wanted to try my hand at IT, which I had always been interested in. I chose Dandelions because I was attracted to its personnel evaluation system and the ability to communicate with employees a lot. After that, I applied to Dandelions and am currently working as a sales representative in the business management department.
Impressions after joining the company
Since joining the company, I have had many new discoveries and experiences. I started traveling around the office in sales and had meetings with salespeople from various companies to discuss work and meet salespeople I had in common with, so it was a bit of a test of energy, but it was very rewarding. I am enjoying my work. In addition, the company environment is very interesting, and one of the characteristics of Dandelions is that about 40% of the employees are foreign nationals, and I enjoy every day being able to learn about the cultures and ways of thinking of different countries.
About my hobbies
I am working hard to “Oshikatsu” in my daily life. Through Oshikatsu, I go to Tokyo and Osaka for live performances and performances, and go to cafes with friends I’ve made through Oshikatsu. In Tokyo, you can find Korean gourmet food in Shin-Okubo, stylish cafes in Omotesando, and in Osaka, try takoyaki and kushikatsu in Dotonbori! ! I eat a lot of different things, so when I got home and stepped on the scale, I cried when I realized that I had gained weight.
I increase my motivation for work through pushing activities.
Why not try Oshikatsu to relieve stress or spend some meaningful time at a cafe?
I’m Omatsu, a member of the Business Management Department. I would like to talk about why I joined Dandelions and my impressions after joining.
Career bakcground
I joined the company in November last year as a mid-career hire. Previously, I worked for seven years as a sales clerk at a trading company that handled auto parts.
Reason for joining the company
I was planning to continue working at my previous job, but due to the effects of the coronavirus, my work style changed, and I became interested in the IT industry, which led me to change jobs. There were many IT companies out there, but I applied to Dandelions because I was attracted to their evaluation system, which is posted on their website, and the atmosphere of the company. During the interview, I learned about the atmosphere of the company and felt more motivated to work there, which made my intention to join the company even stronger.
Impressions after joining the company
After actually joining the company, I feel that the work content and working style are new. Thanks to the rough dialogue and communication, I am able to work in a safe and comfortable environment. During work, I have quiet time, which makes it easier to concentrate and work. There are many new discoveries to be made in a global environment, and it’s really fun when it comes to communicating. I can learn about different ways of thinking and cultures through casual conversations, and I can also naturally remember the meanings of English words, so I feel that it’s not just a work environment, but a learning environment.

Self-introduction
I am from Ama City, Aichi Prefecture. The city was created 14 years ago by the merger of Jinmeji Town, Shippo Town, and Miwa Town. It’s not too rural, but it’s a place that is characterized by the fact that there isn’t anything that stands out. Sometimes it feels inconvenient, but I like that little bit of inconvenience! If I had to introduce it to you, it would be Jinmeji Kannon. During the New Year’s visit and Setsubun seasons, the area is crowded with people from the nearest station, Jinmeji Station. When I was in elementary school, I was able to leave school before the crowds on Setsubun Day, so I looked forward to going out with my friends.
It takes about 20 to 30 minutes from Nagoya Station, so if you have time, be sure to visit. If there are no events going on, you can take your time and look around. Personally, I would like you to visit during the lively times of New Year’s visit and Setsubun.
Last words
It’s been about half a year since I joined the company, but there are still many things I’m not used to and my days are exhausting. However, I am able to feel that it is more rewarding. There are many opportunities to interact with members who work at customer sites, and we have created an environment where you can quickly become familiar. Therefore, when I actually joined the company, I realized that it is a company that is very employee-friendly!
That’s all for now. Look forward to the next employee introduction!
Hello everyone. This is “Pyu🐤” from the Business Management Department! This time, I would like to introduce myself, what led me to join Dandelions, and my impressions after joining the company.
Self-Introduction
I’m French and have been living in Japan for two years now. My university major is Japanese language and culture, and I have been interested in Japan for several years. My hobbies are watching anime and drawing manga-like pictures. I also like to travel around Japan and I have been to various places. Of all the places I have traveled to, my favorite is Mt. Fuji, the most famous mountain in Japan. Below is a picture I took last year near Mt. Fuji.
A wonderful view of Mt. Fuji🗻
Reason for joining the company
Last year, I started job hunting in Japan and I joined Dandelions in September 2023. The reason I joined the company was because I felt a good atmosphere at Dandelions. During the interview, I was asked about my hobbies. It was a very good interaction and there was no stress. Also, there are people from various countries working at this company, which I thought was a very positive factor. For foreigners, working in Japan at a company made up of only Japanese people can be scary. For that reason, I felt a little relieved because people of different nationalities were working at a Japanese company.
Impressions after joining the company
The atmosphere is good, and most of my co-workers are in their 20s. My seniors listen to me and help me if I have any trouble. I was also able to learn new skills through various fields such as marketing, translation, and web design. Additionally, I was able to deepen my knowledge of important IT topics, which I believe will be advantageous in any future job.
That’s all for now. Look forward to the next employee introduction!
Thank you very much for your continued support. We will continue to strive to further improve our services this year, so we appreciate your support!
We entered our 7th season last year, and Dandelions has been steadily growing, albeit little by little. We are looking forward to a very exciting year as we gradually increase the number of employees and work on business plans.

Impact of COVID-19
The world has faced great difficulties due to the effects of the new coronavirus. Dandelions was no exception to this great difficulty.
At Dandelions, we have prepared a secure network environment as an approach to telework since our founding, so setting up infrastructure for telework was not a problem.
What became difficult was “conveying information correctly”. When there was a high level of concern about the new coronavirus, the means of sharing information were online meetings, texts such as emails, and indirect sharing through managers.
Although we were able to communicate using any means of information sharing, there were many cases where the information was not conveyed correctly. There have been times when things have not been communicated correctly, leading to major misunderstandings.
Dandelions’ diversity and member cooperation
However, once we realized that the information was not being communicated correctly, we were able to immediately take measures to improve communication. I believe that one of the reasons we were able to improve the accuracy of information sharing and overcome the challenges was the diversity of our human resources and the cooperation of our members.
Dandelions has human resources gathered not only from Japan but also from various countries and regions such as the United States, France, the Czech Republic, Nigeria, China, and Vietnam. Each person has their own culture and values.
In order to understand diversity, we take cross-cultural communication and communicable Japanese training, including our non-Japanese members, and are working on communicative communication.
Within the company, we communicate and respect different cultures and generate new ideas and perspectives. We were able to improve the accuracy of information sharing by applying the consideration of diversity among our members to information sharing.
Thinking about growth and customer satisfaction through teamwork
I believe that by working together, we were able to accomplish things that we could not do alone. Even during the coronavirus pandemic, we worked hard every day to meet the needs of our customers.
We believe that the fact that we have been able to earn the trust and appreciation of our customers is the result of our teamwork.
This year, we aim to grow even further. To achieve this, we need to further deepen our diversity and cooperation, and we need to always put customer satisfaction first. The Dandelions aim to be united towards this goal.
Conclusion
Last but not least, for everyone, I sincerely hope that this year will be a wonderful year. We appreciate your continued support of our company. Thank you very much.
Hi! I am “Michi” and I will introduce myself in this post! My last post (here) was in October 2020, so it has been about 3 years since I last posted. Time passes quickly.
Current work
I have been working with my current client since June 2020. I was mainly responsible for system maintenance, but now I am participating in development projects.
My daily schedule looks like this:
09:00: I start working 09:15: Meeting within your company 09:30: Meeting for the entire customer team 12:00: Lunch break 13:00: I restart working 13:05: Development PJMT (onsite) 14:00: Development PJMT (offshore) 18:00: End of my day
Currently, I work from home 4 days a week and go to work once a week. Recently, development has reached a climax, and we have many meetings. In between meetings, I receive deliverables from offshore and test them, and develop on-site batch functions. When I want to exercise, I go to the gym during my lunch break.
I moved
I moved in July of this year. There are various points to consider when choosing a place, such as rent, area, conditions of the building itself, etc. What do you guys prioritize? Apart from the points mentioned above, my deciding factor was that there was a supermarket nearby. If I were in the past, I do not think I would have paid much attention to this point. I am sure this is due to the fact that I had more opportunities to cook at home due to the coronavirus. The neighborhood seems to be a quiet residential area, but there is a school nearby. When I hear the lively shouts of students as they work in club activities or physical education classes, I feel a warm feeling of youth.

I went to Ise
I went to visit Ise-Jingu for the first time in a while. I was blessed with good weather, and visiting the temple felt very refreshing. I always forget the etiquette of washing my hands and visiting the shrine, so I imitated what other worshipers were doing. I bought an amulet to ward off evil spirits at the Kagura Hall in the Naiku. (Next year is supposed to be a “harbinger of a great disaster” for me, according to the mae-yaku belief in Japan). Afterwards, I went to Okage Yokocho to eat while walking and had a great time.

Please look forward to the next employee introduction!
