A Day In The Zoo!
I had the opportunity to visit the Higashiyama Park zoo with two coworkers on a company-organized trip to help us get to know each other better. Even though the summer days are getting hotter, we managed to walk around the entire zoo. Our main mission was to find one of the lions sponsored by our company.

As an animal lover
As someone who just love animals, I got specially distracted by other animals that caught our attention, like the seals, elephants and the red panda. I have two Labradors in my home country; they look just like seals. Please wait until my next blog, where I will introduce them.
Despite the heat, this visit was much better than my previous experience at the zoo, where there were too many people to properly enjoy the animals. This time, with fewer visitors due to the extreme heat, I was able to get a good look at the red panda and a beautiful black jaguar with striking patterns on its fur. The black jaguar looked like a big, playful cat while scratching a tree with its sharp claws.
Before coming back home, we also went up the tower at Higashiyama Zoo. Since I’m actually afraid of heights, it was a bit scary, but I still enjoyed the view.
One of my hobbies is shopping for clothes in second-hand stores, and for this occasion, I decided to wear an animal-printed shirt that I had never worn before because it’s a bit flashy. It seemed perfect for a day at the zoo. It was amusing to see my coworkers dressed more casually and relaxed, different from the usual work attire. We looked good, and I think we made a great group.
Lastly, I must say that my favorite animals of the day were the seals. There were different sizes and colors, and they looked so happy sliding around in the water.

Overview
I had a great time with my new colleagues, and I feel like our personalities click well. We enjoy talking, sharing opinions, and laughing together. I feel like we could become good friends. It’s reassuring to know that, as newcomers, we can support each other when work gets tough, although so far, everything has been going great.
I hope we can have more outings like this and strengthen the bonds with the whole team.

Just spent an incredible day at Higashiyama Zoo with my two new coworkers! It was scorching hot, but that didn’t stop us from exploring everything the zoo had to offer. We saw so many amazing animals, from majestic lions to playful monkeys and even some exotic birds. The heat made it a bit of a challenge, but we powered through, bonding over our shared love of wildlife and the occasional ice cream break.

We had the incredible opportunity to meet a majestic lion, sponsored by our company. This sponsorship isn’t just about supporting wildlife; I believe it’s also deeply connected to our commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By contributing to the preservation of endangered species and their habitats I think Dandelions is trying promoting biodiversity and ensuring that future generations can experience the wonders of nature. From my experience this involvement reflects the dedication to responsible business practices and environmental stewardship.

The highlight had to be the breathtaking view from the Higashiyama Sky Tower. You could see the whole city stretched out before us—truly stunning! It was a perfect moment to relax and appreciate the day.
Thoughts
Spending time together outside of work really helped us strengthen our relationships and build team spirit. I’m so glad we had this experience—it’s days like this that make you realize how important it is to connect with the people you work with. Spending the day together helped us bond in a way that only shared experiences can. We laughed, learned more about each other, and left feeling like a stronger team. It’s amazing how a fun day out can boost team spirit and strengthen relationships. Looking forward to more adventures together!
Hi! This is ‘ HelloHa ‘! Today I would like to talk about a trip I took to Higashiyama Zoo with my fellow new employees.
Today we went to The HigashiYama Zoo, Yayyy!!
We gathered at the zoo’s main gate at 10:00 a.m., looking forward to today’s adventure. Our first stop was the rhino exhibit area. Surprise and excitement mixed together as soon as we saw the giant rhinos cooling off in the water. The rhinoceros was soaking in the water and closing its eyes, as if it were enjoying a moment of bliss. Just watching them made us feel relaxed.
Next, we went to the otter area. The otters were really energetic, spinning around in the water and playing with each other. Their lively movements naturally brought smiles to everyone’s faces. The sight of the otters bouncing around was so innocent that it made our hearts skip a beat just to watch them.
When we moved to the seal area, we were greeted by graceful swimming seals. They looked at us with their curious eyes as they peeked out of the water. Their adorable appearance made us shout “Cute! I couldn’t help but exclaim, “They are so cute! The graceful swimming of the seals was a moment that soothed my heart.
Next, we headed to the lion exhibit, where majestic lions were making their presence known. Their majestic appearance was breathtaking, and I naturally stood taller as I stood in front of the lions. We all took pictures in front of the (Dande) Lions.
We also looked around at other animals such as gorillas, flamingos, and black leopards. All the animals are so unique that you never get tired of looking at them. In particular, the serious expression on the gorilla’s face and the flamboyant appearance of the flamingos are worth seeing.
And when I climbed up the tower, the view was mind-blowing. The view from the tower was just spectacular, and the city of Nagoya was spread out. I think Nagoya, which I just moved to, is really beautiful. I am sure the night view of Nagoya will also be colorful and fascinating.
After finishing our visit to the zoo, we stopped by a souvenir store. The store was filled with animal-themed goods, all of which were cute and fun to choose from. I got a stuffed rabbit! We each found an item that we liked, and it was a heart-warming moment.
Finally, as I look back at the many pictures I took throughout the zoo, I realize that today’s adventure was truly amazing. Although it was a hot day, it made our interaction with the animals even more enjoyable and gave us many memorable experiences. We left the zoo with smiles on everyone’s faces and a great feeling that today’s adventure had been a wonderful one.
Hello everyone! This is Junpei from the second unit. We are once again fortunate to have welcomed three new employees to Dandelions Co., Ltd. this year. This time, we will introduce the new employee welcome party held in April.
First, a toast!! ~ pleasant conversation
The welcome party started with a toast signal from the organizer.
Many of our members work at our clients’ offices due to work circumstances, so we had a great time talking about our recent activities and hobbies, even though we don’t usually see each other.
New employee greetings
As the atmosphere started to heat up, we asked the new employees to introduce themselves.
The three new employees were of various nationalities and backgrounds, and although they were nervous, they talked about themselves.

Summary The new employees seemed nervous at first, but as the conversation progressed, their tension gradually eased, and it was a very enjoyable welcome party. In fact, Dandelions is planning on welcoming new members in the future, and we hope to provide an opportunity like this for them to deepen their friendships (and drink) when they do.

I will introduce the learning contents that I am working on on a daily basis as a technician blog. This time, it is the third unit on the theme of infrastructure.
The third unit is managing the Dandelions’ internal network. To strengthen its security, we have introduced a UTM device called FortiGate. “UTM” is an abbreviation for “Unified Threat Management”. In other words, one device can manage the entire network security.
In this technician blog, we will introduce three functions of FortiGate.
① Email filter
As a measure against spam, FortiGate can check the contents of the emails it receives and add any tag to the subject of emails that are detected as suspected spam.

② Intrusion prevention
This function prevents program vulnerabilities, botnets, and other intrusions. “Other intrusions” are, for example, attempts to access the server’s authentication files.
Prevents access to the authentication files of Linux servers.
③ Application Control
You might think that this is a function that allows you to disable certain applications (programs), but it can also restrict the use of websites, not just programs that can be executed individually.
