Dandelions has the following goals:
In the IT industry, we tend to believe that there are more male workers, but at Dandelions, we hire people regardless of gender. We put effort into getting rid of the “because he is a man…” or the“because she is a woman…” mindset that can lead to stereotypes. We encourage men to take childcare and nursing care leaves, and women to become managers. We aim to be a company that develops human resources who can play an active role in the IT industry, regardless of gender.
At Dandelions, people from various countries are active and we are often asked why we hire foreigners. For us, it is not about their nationality, but about their individuality. We hold internships twice a year where anyone can easily apply, with no boundaries between International and Japanese students. We conduct in-house training for all employees on topics such as “cultural differences” and “Japanese communication skills”, so that foreigners can work with peace of mind. We aim to be a company that allows foreigners to work comfortably in Japan and to provide them support.
