In June, I visited the Nagoya City Science Museum as part of our employee training program. <br>It was a full\u2011sensory day of \u201cseeing, touching, being amazed\u2026 and even sleeping (!?).\u201d <br>The theme was: <em>Playing with science and encountering the universe.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Every exhibit was a huge hit!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The science museum is divided into three sections: the Technology Building, the Life Science Building, and the Astronomy Building. Each one is packed with hands\u2011on exhibits, and there was so much to see that half a day wasn\u2019t nearly enough.<br><br>The Extreme Cold Lab, where you can experience a \u221230\u00b0C environment, was especially popular\u2014despite it being a Friday, the numbered tickets ran out early. A large group of elementary school students seemed to be there on a field trip, so every floor was buzzing with energy. I even spotted one of our employees making friends with the kids! What exactly is spacetime?\u201d <br>I found myself drawn deeper and deeper into these cosmic mysteries that we never encounter in everyday life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The visuals and sound effects of the black hole were incredible, letting us experience what it might feel like to be drawn into the pitch\u2011black, bottomless vortex at its center. <br>The reclining seats were so comfortable that it seems some people were pulled into a sleep even deeper than a black hole\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Beyond Learning: An Encounter with Science<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This day at the Nagoya City Science Museum was more than just a tour or a training session\u2014it was an intellectual adventure filled with the joy of discovery and moments of genuine wonder. <br>Experiencing the many science\u2011based exhibits was truly enjoyable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"http:\/\/dandelions.co.jp\/blog\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/FWXZ7705-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6399\" srcset=\"http:\/\/dandelions.co.jp\/blog\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/FWXZ7705-1024x768.jpeg 1024w, http:\/\/dandelions.co.jp\/blog\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/FWXZ7705-300x225.jpeg 300w, http:\/\/dandelions.co.jp\/blog\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/FWXZ7705-768x576.jpeg 768w, http:\/\/dandelions.co.jp\/blog\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/FWXZ7705.jpeg 1477w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 767px) 89vw, (max-width: 1000px) 54vw, (max-width: 1071px) 543px, 580px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And that concludes our off\u2011site learning report from the Nagoya City Science Museum\u2014a day filled with science, relaxation, and plenty of laughter! <br>Stay tuned for the next article!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thank you for reading.
